I was always under the impression Tim Berners Lee was the chief architect of the internet as we know it. When I first became aware of Albert Gore commandeering it I recall I spat large quantities of wine over a rather nice keyboard and sustained a permanently jerky diaphragm. Another reason to wish a terminal illness on the lying old duffer :-)
Tim Berners Lee had nothing to do with the Internet. He's responsible for the WWW application. The Internet was a colaborative effort of US scientists...

They keep the myth that " Al Gore invented the internet " alive just to embarrass the old fraud. Great T-shirt btw.
