In getting past the novelty of the first few weeks, I've started to appreciate myself that it gets rather tough. I'm suffering from chronic writers' block at the moment and am only doing short postings as a result (for the time being, anyway - hope to be back within a week or so).
But well done for coming out the other side unscathed. It's harder than it seems (in my case, anyway).
Thanks for the message. My first month to six weeks was a battle against myself and my own schedule, I would say go take a look, but life is too short... take my word on it. I got a few good ideas up, but mostly I was still defining what I wanted the blog to be and finding my voice. At about 2-3 months it all started coming together, though I hit a big wall in the summer and took a few weeks off.
For what it is worth, my advice would be to just be honest to yourself; do not blog if you think you might regret it later or for the benefit of others. Just be comfortable... some weeks I am ablaze with post ideas and it is too much to get it all written and others I struggle for inspiration - I am sure I would not be alone there.
It's not always easy to find stuff to talk about, and I know that sometimes you end up blogging about something that you're not really that passionate about. Of course this shows in the quality... well, that's how it is for me. But, hey, it's only a bit of fun...
I enjoy your posts Daniel, adn I'll run over and have a look at yours to Corrugated...

Have you only been going one year? You are on so many blogrolls I thought you'd been going much longer.
But anyway, keep up the good work.
Congratulations on your first birthday.
