Not A Trace Of Red

Map lifted from ConservativeHome

Sky News put up a scale +/- graphic as the counts began earlier today, measuring between +300 and -300 seats for all the parties.   They said anything in the -250 region would be meltdown for Gordon Brown, and at present they are looking at -305 - 5 more than they felt was conceivable even in terms of a Labour drubbing.

The Parliamentary Labour Party still holds the key for now, some tough decisions for members over the weekend but a fresh beginning is their only hope to avoid meltdown when we do finally get a General Election.

Back to the highlands for more troops. Pleased to have helped turn my local , 2nd home, ward from yellow to blue today.
The problem for the plotters is..who would want to be the leader having to call an election into that level of defeat. Chucked from office before they have even begun.
