Spy Blog points out that MPs have sneaked an amendment into the Political Parties and Elections Bill, at the report stage and just before the bill was to be rubber stamped for the third reading.
Spy Blog suggests there may have been some agreement between the parties to have made this happen and that the Deputy Speaker was dismissive of objections.
